Right now AP Expo leafs are $150 off and qualify for free shipping. But I think that goes away at midnight with the Labor Day sale. If you're going to do it, do it now as this is probably as good as it'll get...especially since they're in stock.

OME Heavy is the new terminology for what was previously known as the Dakar Pack...nothing new but the name. OME Light is the same pack minus an overload leaf.

I've got the Dakar Pack (OME Heavy now) with the OME D29XL AAL. I'm pretty level with shell, racks, bedslide, tools/EDC, armor, etc. I considered jumping on the AP Expos but I think I'm good for now.

I have the @allpro Expo leafs. No complaints. Handles my RTT, Expo rack, and all my gear. It sits level even with all that in the rig.

    just a few things.
Only thing Is you can't make it go higher like dakars. I have all pro expo and I like it but sometimes I wish I was as tall as Vincent's dakars

Damn it... Guess I am going to have to miss the sale... and read into it more... And Right now the weight is only 500 lbs as the Heavy are 600 I know its only 100 lbs but I think I am going to need the extra weight... So that I have a little more bump in the rear.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/new-ome-dakar-leaf-pack-review.489540/

I have the orginal dakar leaf pack with extra leaf. when i bought it back then, before the heavy duty released.. you can read about the difference above.

reason for extra leaf, I have camper shell, rack, and tent in the rear. adding bedsliders. truck full of camping stuff. I didn't like the bro lean.

@kingk0ng have the allpro expo leafs, when no load in the back, my setup look a bit taller, and it doesn't sag with all the extra garbage in the back.

And it's installed! Thanks again @ZERT-Tacoma915 for the group buy deal! Oh, just wanted to note that the free bin/divider looks like it only comes in one size. It's too wide for the Bedslides purchased in this group buy but I plan to trim it to fit. Can't complain when it's free!!!

is it because your bed is alittle narrow than the 2nd gen or are they the same?

They should fit, right? Shouldn't be any cutting.

I'd check with @ZERT-Tacoma915 before you trim away. :)

I'll take a pic of it on the bedslide tomorrow.

From what I've read the 1st gen bed is wider than the 2nd gen but the part numbers for the bedslides are the same. So my bedslide is also 38 inches in width while the bin is 44 inches. The part numbers reflect the dimensions from what a Bedslide rep told me a while ago.

Good idea... @ZERT-Tacoma915 let me know if I should hold off.

It probably can be mounted that way but I'm really not too worried since I'm not sure if I even have any use for it. The design of the bin/divider looks like it's just made to be placed on the bedslide (no mounts or anything holding it in down).
