Like the title says, I am looking for a reputable member to do an honest test and write up of the RSI LED Headlight Kits I sell. My name is Ryan and my company is RSI Motorsports. I have actually been working with automotive lighting for about 11 years, first started with HID of course, worked on doing retrofits and custom headlights for a while and have now shifted focus to strictly LED lighting. This is my side business but I have been working with some very good manufacturers for the past 11 years and giving feedback and input for their LED designs for a while now. My day job is actually selling Toyota's and Volvo's, I love cars and trucks in general and I love the dealer I work for but I tell myself all the time, why not do both. Automotive lighting is something that I love as well but have really only been working locally with people and their lighting needs but wish to expand a little and start to offer some exceptional LED lighting to the Tacoma Community as well.

What I am looking for is someone is extremely reputable in this community to test out a complete set of LED lights for a 2016 Tacoma and someone to do the same with a 2nd Gen. Now I have these installed in my 16 Taco but being new to the community and wanting to start to build that relationship with Tacoma World, this is the reason I am doing this. The bulbs I offer are rated at 6000 lumens per bulb and run at a color temp of 6500k, With LED's the color temp is deceiving though. If you compared the color side by side to a 6500k or 6000k HID bulb the HID bulb would have a slightly more blue hint to it while these LED bulbs are more white. I also have a 3000k option (3k have not been tested yet) for these exact bulbs as well (great for fog lights).

For the person who gets selected for the 2016 package, you will receive two H11 kits and one H9 kit, Low Beam, High beam and Fog Lights. For the 2nd Gen tester, they would receive one H4 High/Low kit and either one H10 or H11 kit (fog lights) depending on the year of their truck.

For people worried about the 2016 Fog lights since it lists H11 and H16, they are the exact same base of bulb. The only difference between the H11 and H16 halogen bulb is the wattage.

For the two lucky testers, you will get these kits for Free, all I require in return is a detailed write up with pictures and their honest feedback. If you have done other write ups on products in the past that would be a huge plus and give you a better chance at being selected to test these LED bulbs.

If everything goes well I will be setting up a group buy for the Tacoma World Community.

Couple pics of kits installed in a Co-workers 2010 4Runner and my 2016 Tacoma:

Sign me up for the 2nd gen test. 2014, if that matters. I've tested quite a few bulbs in tacomas so I'm down to give it a go!

I will only be picking two people, one 3rd gen owner, preferably one that has fog lights and one 2nd gen owner. If you have reviewed anything that I can look at, that will help me pick the two to do the write up and review. I will most likely choose the the two people by sunday and then order in the kits needed for those trucks.

Being that you are from Colorado, you are definitely in the running, easier to deliver. I'm assuming your 14 has fog lights?

PM'ed you, I would be very interested in testing your LED lights. I have been installed several LED kits on friends rigs to compare them against.

Do you notice any bouncing of the beam on you tacoma when you hit a bump?

Some of us with morimoto bulbs are suffering from a beam that bounces when you hit a bump in the road. TRS says it's not the bulbs but the housings.

Nice truck by the way, silver limited ftw.

So far no bouncing that I have noticed. The Low beam and High won't at all but the fog lights I could see that happening as the housing isn't 100% secure from what I found. there is a little flex/movement in the housing but again, I haven't noticed the beam or light suffering from the bulbs bouncing. I can try to get some video here over the weekend.

I think you'd get a pretty honest review by sending the sets to the couple testers for a couple months and then give them the choice to buy them at retail or send them back. I think the cost factor makes a big difference on the review. In the end, are the lights worth it? You don't get that with freebies.

So technically, no because I have an aftermarket bumper. However, I can have the stock fogs hooked up and running in less than 5 minutes because I do not have aftermarket fog lights. The connectors are still there so it's not a big deal and I have my stock fogs sitting in the garage.

I have led retro kit in my 3rd gen now but would love to compare the differences between them.

I work in the wholesale lighting industry as a sales rep so I have the knowledge and background with any type of lighting you can think of.

I would like to see pictures of the light beam up against a building to see if the cut off is still present. I was totally bummed that the 16 Tacoma didn't come stock with LED lights, especially since they are present in the Corolla.
