Hi, I'd be interested in doing a comparison and review on your kit. I've posted many times in the OPT7 LED head lights thread and posted shots of the lights performance along with a miniature review of the kit. I think it would be a good comparison between your kit and a competitors kit on my 2016 Tacoma. I have their LEDs in my low and highs as well so it would be a head to head comparison.

So the two testers have been selected, once I get there choice for the color on the fog lights, I will get them shipped out and they should see them early next week. Hopefully we will have some reviews and feedback by next week.

Loveland, I'd be very interested in getting these lights when you are ready to sell. I need the low beams only. How much would they be? Do these lights have a built-in fan? Do they need added ventilation or a different harness? Please PM when you are ready.

Looks promising. I have an HID kit from TRS with morimoto bulbs and like I said, the bounce is there on both sides. From what I noticed, I had to adjust the beam down as not to blind people on the road. When I did that, the bounce got worse. The light output is great otherwise.

People first thought it was an issue the grommet around the bulb, but after switching them out with the oem ones, we still have the bounce. Now TRS's position is the issue is with our housing. No one can seem to confirm if this is true or not. I observe no bounce with OEM bulbs, but like I mentioned before, the bouncing did get worse when the beam was adjusted. , however I never noticed any bounce with the factory bulb. I even switched the grommet out and put the factory one on and nada.

I'd consider testing out your bulbs, especially since my truck is suffering from the bounce issue. I think this would help both parties. If I install your bulbs and the bounce goes away, then we know you have a superior bulb then TRS, and I can confirm it's not my housing causing the issue.

If that is the case, and your light output is equal or better, then I don't think you will have an issue selling these to us 3rd gen guys.

    If your interested PM me.

I have a 2016 Double cab with factory fog lights, I would be willing to try them and write about them. Sounds interesting.

Normal price for the single beam kit is $119, GB would be less and I will figure out pricing for the GB when the reviews are in. The lights do have a built in fan and work perfectly fine with the stock housing, they do not need any added ventilation . The bulbs plug into the stock harness too.

It's an issue with the bulb. The OEM bulb doesn't bounce and neither do other aftermarket bulbs. Morimoto just doesn't want to deal with fixing it.

Well I got to be one of the lucky ones to test these LED's out. First impressions: DAMN THEY ARE BRIGHT!!

They come packaged very nice (I took a pic on my iPad I'll post later). The instructions are just pictures (no words) so I had to get some clarification so I didn't mess them up but really the install is straight forward. Basically the same as changing your regular bulbs. Getting the low beam units in was tight and took some patience and finesses but they did go in. I recommend starting on the driver's side - low, fog, high then do the passenger side where the wiper fluid reservoir sort of makes it a tad harder. Again do low, fog, high. Reason on order is the ease of doing in my opinion.

I will take some pictures in the light under the hood to show how used 3M Very Strong Tape to mount everything.

    Here are some comparison pictures:
    High beams:
    image.jpg
    Low beams:
    image.jpg
    Fogs:
    image.jpg

    Yeah QUITE the difference!!

I will do a road test tomorrow night. Time for a Deschutes River Ale - I highly recommend it

Sounds good. I'm underwhelmed with the stock lights and I'm ready to jump in on it.

Can you take some picks from a little further back, so we can get an idea of how the cutoff is.

Also on your test drive, throw in some bumps and let us know if there is any jiggling.

Very interested in how far out these reach. I switched out the opt7 led's because the distance the light reached from the truck stinks. Just my opinion though.
