Isn't "high-class redneck" an oxymoron? Maybe we can call it "redneck glam" or "redneck rich."

 

Man this post brought back memories! I drank way too much there when I was younger! I doubt I would even recognize the place. My oldest just moved to Auburn, I'm sure she'll be raising hell there soon.

 

I believe the term is rednecks with paychecks and they're out there.

I definitely grew up in a hick area - not to be confused with rednecks or hillbillies. Hicks are like the hobbits of white trash. simple folk that don't really have a problem with anyone, but are probably grumbling about something just to pass the time.
