Hi my name is Matt im new here and need some help.I own a 2000 taco and have had it a year. Recently i have been having shakes in the front end between 65 and 75 simple things ive done. alignment balance, rotate, check the brakes took out front driveshaft replaced both steering ends on the rack and pinion. looked over all the bushings no real wear. need to check the bal joints but havent got there. shocks are unknow varailbe. is there any one out there that has had this happen? and what did they do to fix it. second is there a adjusment to the rack and pinion one can do to tighten it back up like ina steering box. thanks matt

I personally haven't but there are a great bunch of guys here that are very knowledgable when it comes to taco suspensions. One of them should pop in here soon.

    Welcome to TW!!

Sopunds like a tire issue. WHen you rotated them, the the vibes stay the same? Check for a bent wheel? For the steering rack, you can replace the bushing with some polyurethane ones to help tigten it up.

Is there any way you can swap tires with someone to see if the vibs follow the tires?
