Whoo! New Taco!!!!

Hey guys! I finally got my new taco after my last one took a Hyundai (going 50) up the rear while at a stop light.
I had to drive 4 hours to get it because there were no other SRs with 4x4 in a 250 mile radius, but I paid MSRP, and it's an SR5.

I noticed that the speedometer and other dials now have a pink pointer thing, instead of red like in my now-gone 21 SR. Is that new, or have they always been pink in trims higher than the SR?

Yeah, they kinda are a pinkish color, my 18 sport is if I remember correctly.

 

Cool. They're definitely a contrast to my 21 SRs. Maybe it's because I had the utility package, but they were bright red. You can see one of them in this picture:

Yeah it is kinda pink but I usually look in digital screen most of time.

i wanted full digital screen in Tacoma which other vehicles have. Toyota should keep up..

Oh well, other than that, I am good with what I have.

Looks great! Based off the wheels and badging I think that's an SX -- which is basically an SR5 with blackout options.

I won't lie and tell you that a small gasp and the words "oh shit I got the girl version" did not come out of my mouth while driving it home

Yes. It did come with the blackout package. Even though my wife isn't too happy about it, I get to start all the mods again.
