That URL doesn't work with all the asterisks. Not sure what happened there.

This one works with manuals. http://bayareametalfab.3dcartstores.com/Pelfreybilt-Bussman-mounted-plate-MANUAL-Trans-_p_135.html

You seem to be in a much better mood about this whole thing than I would be. Good luck finding the fix -- I hope it's nothing too crazy.

Check your wiring on top of fuel tank. Could have pulled a wire loose.

Haha yeah there's gas in it for sure.
I think a cheap tow to the close 4x4 shop is in order. And maybe a joke about my shit wiring lol. Sucks man - I've been tinkering with electronics for years, this is the first i've had an issue like this

Vehicle electronics are becoming a nightmare. I don't see it getting simpler, ever. Think televisions - they want you to use it for so many years and then throw it away because of the complexity involved in repairing them.

100% agree...I wouldn't take a vehicle with an electrical issue to a 4X4 shop, unless you know for certain they have someone on staff competent to troubleshoot the issue. Things could go from bad to worse pretty quickly.

With a manual transmission is there a clutch switch? Perhaps that’s gone bad? Just guessing as I have an automatic transmission.:notsure:

I had a car towed a few weeks ago to my buddy's shop. His wife turned in some sort of paperwork to Autozone and a couple of weeks later I received a full refund on my tow bill. May be something to check into:notsure:

What's even worse is that all it takes is a little bit of water and boom you pay thousands for computers.

Yeah with a no-com to ECM you'd need to find the ECM probe for powers and grounds then use a scope to see if you have communication too and from the ECM. Then take it from there. Not difficult but u need to know what you're doing.
