Toyota.ca will get you pretty close. Just set your province to NB, then build and price it.

Well I got bored, so I priced a DCSB TRD Sport 6MT. Its $36,840 plus tax and other bs fees. With $5000 down and 48 month financing, it's about $860/month. The only option is the sport upgrade package, which has wireless charging, power moonroof and blind spot monitoring/cross traffic alert, for about $1500. I wouldn't bother with that shit though, but that's just me. Now go buy one!

Anyone have a nice picture of their truck to post? Every time this thread gets bumped to the front page, all I see is a picture of my tire...

Geez. I almost paid that for my FJ back in 07.... I hunted for that truck for a couple months. Dealerships were hiding FJs from other dealers so you literally had to go to them all. I live close to Saint John and found it in Woodstock.

It would be like finding a DBL SWB around here.... Although I did see a lifted 07 on a car lot in Hampton yesterday. A black one.

I bought my truck in Woodstock too. I had pretty limited options because 2015 production was already ended. Saint John had 3 DC SB 6 speeds, I went to the dealer to drive one a week after I saw them and they were all gone. Ended up getting one from Quebec.

From somewhere between Moncton and Sackville.

NBFJCruz did you end up buying shocks from Jason? I bought some for $109 in the fall but the price is slowly creeping up unfortunately.

No, Dana. He's the manager I think, or maybe the owner now. My dad worked at the dealer there for years, so our family knows everyone there quite well.

Yes I did get them from Jason....Or whoever the assistant manager is now. I think he said Andrew. I got them for $118 plus tax. I almost paid $115 for KYB shocks until one of the guys on the NS BS Thread found that price on 4WP. Should be in Freddy late next week....Hopefully

Gotchya. I always felt bad for being so far away because the few times I did take the truck there for service they were A#1

Yea, they're known to have pretty good service. Their service advisors are actually licensed mechanics too which is nice. It doesn't take long for a reputation to travel around a small town though, so they almost have to be good at what they do.

Actually I was the one who posted the link/price. I bought a lift from the boys in November, Bilstein 5100 shocks with OME 885 coil and Dakars. It will be going on soon, basically once my yard is thawed and dry.

Well then thank you Vince. Got them yesterday. Should have put them on today but I just wasn't in the mood. Probably a 30min job. Tomorrow. ..... Maybe.

Had a chat with Jay for a few minutes. Things seem to be going well. I hear Eastern Offroad may open a store in Freddy. That woukd be cool.

New 5100's on the back. Hitting the top nut with WD40 once a day for a week before doing the swap paid off. Vise grips around threaded shaft and slow, steady pressure and the problem nut came off fairly easy.

All told, including beer break and a sandwich, it took maybe 2 hours. As long as that bolt lets go you could swap them out in under an hour I am sure. The oem shocks with almost 300,000km were really not in bad shape. I could collapse them easily but they did bounce back. I was impressed.

As a matter of fact I did. LOL. Spent the day in the garage so it was all good. Sounds like Good Friday is going to be messy. Hopefully this week is the end of it. Got a new summer toy that I want to get out.
