Gotta watch out for that transition from bedroom to hallway. Those things are death traps.

Just be thankful you don't live on the west side.

When I was in Oahu a few weeks back I was shocked over how bad the traffic is over there . My brother lives in Kailua and the Pali hwy or route 61 was busy with traffic ea day . Even driving from his place towards the North shore took over an hour and that was early Saturday morning

My brother has told me it takes him sometimes 45min to an hour or more from Kailua to Waikiki beach were he works

Yeah, but at least the view when driving from Kailua to the North Shore is awesome!

Sounds about right. I've been in some traffic but man Honolulu traffic takes the cake. There's more and more cars every year, and we can't add roads to help, no more land.

Traffic on all the islands is awful. From what I understand it's substantially harder cutting roads through lava so roads are rarely built or widened and when they are the construction takes forever.

Well the Big Island is the youngest island with the most lava, but the roads there are probably the best in the state.

24.6 miles, 17 of that is interstate. The rest is 4 lane divided except for the first 1/4 mile out of the drive way. The drive isn't bad except for the LAST 100'.....in the parking lot at this God forsaken hell hole of a job....

28 years of the same freeking drive, 6 days a week.

Can't agree more. What gets me is these guys who "retire" - then go back to work, WTF? It would take a LOT to compel me to go back to work. Motorhome payment? It would be gone. High boat payment? It would be sank! High maintance old lady? It would be her turn to punch a time clock.
