Good Luck man! My younger brother just got back from his second tour in Iraq (Marines 3/6 India Co.). He said he will probably go to Afghanistan next. Thanks for your service!

Can't say that I have, but I'm strongly considering taking a break from school and enlisting.

And yes, I know there's the officers program, but no, I don't want to do it.

Thanks for your service. Stay safe and have fun over there! :)

    Hmm...

Go Officer and make a whole helluva lot more money. Have a better way of life in general

    OR

Stay Enlisted. Pull KP, Burn the shit barrels, CQ, etc. , Make less money

    hmm... that's a tough one...

id rather stay enlisted, officers dont get to do half the shit we get to do. your not going to see a lieutenant driving a humvee going on patrols, i drive them. if your prior enlisted then most marines have respect for you since youve gone through all the "tough work" that most troops go through, all the bitch work

    Still isn't worth it.

Yep, builds character, maturity and responsibility. Plus there is something about being a senior enlisted member that speaks volumes.
