Who's running Nitto Mud Grapplers on a spacer/block lift?

Pardon my noobish question. I'm not a suspension/wheel/tire pro.

I'm curious if any one here is running a similar set up on their 16 and up Taco.

    I have a '17 TRD OR 4x4 DCSB.

I really like the tires and have driven on them along with some moderate missing and off road.

Keep in mind, I'm not looking for hardcore suspension or fuel economy.
I didn't buy the truck for this.

I would like to run these tires on a cheap lift for now. I'll need to save up or score a good contract to pay for a proper suspension lift.

Right now I'm just looking for looks and wheel/tire clearance on a cheap lift.

    Open to all suggestions.

    Thanks!

Hold up ... lemme go drive around the mall for a bit and see if I can get you pics! just sayin....

Get the Terra Grapplers instead and drive your truck... stock is better than a block lift, seriously.

The TRDOR is a pretty capable machine from the factory, you are actually making it worse with the cheap lift.

20% Tint, OME 3"complete lift with Dakar's, Light Racing UCA's, 285/75/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers, 10 HP TW sticker, Ultraguage, B.A.M.F. Rock Sliders, MedicFab Bed Rack, Relentless front bumper, Air Flow Snorkel, Ham comms, Tech Deck
What exactly are you asking OP? Are you looking for pics or wanting to know if that combo would work? What size tires are you looking to get?

Most with a 3" lift are running either 265's or 285's. Just keep in mind with the 285's you could run into rubbing issues. Yes I'm talking about on the street and not off-road. Wheels can rub at full lock in reverse and forward. You will need to take off the mud flabs on the front if running 285's.

265's look good with an aggressive tire also. Even the Terra Grappler is a aggressive enough tire to look good and not too small.

If you are staying on the road then the spacer lift would be fine for you. You don't have to spend $3k on a lift if you just want looks. I'm assuming you've done research about the spacer lifts and know they can ride kinda rough with spacers in the coils.

It's your money you can do what you want with it. I'm guessing you want the looks now and better suspension later, correct?

I'm running 265/70R17 on stock suspension, but that's only ~31.6

285's will need spacers if run on the stock off road wheels. 265's with an aggressive tread look really good.

I feel like you would hit the fender with 285s when the suspension flexed. I'm on 265s with +6 offset wheels, and they poke past the fender just a bit at rest.

Yes sir you get what I'm asking.

Thanks for the response. Yes I was wondering if I did a 3/1 spacer lift would Mid Grapplers fit. I'd be forced to go with a 8"+ wheel and about a 12 or 18 et offset in either a 17" or similar specs.

I've done many daystar, toytec, rough country kits. I understand they preload the front coils and also stretch the rear shocks a bit.

I was considering a Rough Country 3/1 lift. It's a combo of front and diff spacers, rear shocks, and blocks w u bolts.

I wasn't too confident 33" Mud Grapplers would fit so I figured I'd ask.

I'll pick up an OME or Icon set up later down the road or if I run into the extra money.

I need my truck to look the part once I do my commercial wrap for my business.

These stock tires and height won't cut it.

I think I'll order the rough Country kit and go w 265/75 trail grappler mt's

Thanks for all the photos everyone else posted.

I'm going to do the same rough country kit soon just for looks. Rwd and all hwy driving so I'd love the looks and height with my tires. I currently have a 2in front spacer w/factory t-force wheels wrapped in 285/70/17 bfg ko2s and 1.25 wheel spacers. Don't rub anymore after trimming. IMG_9340.jpg

Hey! SA! lol I got my front spacer from River City Creations and Lighting. They did good work and kept in touch throughout the whole installation, very good price too. Got it installed and aligned for $310 otd. Might take the rough country kit for them to install for me. Don't have the tools for proper install and don't really trust myself doing so lol @Aztec.Taco

Ah ok, I'll give them a buzz. I'll end up doing mine myself. I've got most of the tools here other than a spring compressor.

I talked to Off Road Ready and they quoted me 500 for the labor.

Keep in touch w me, I do tint, PPF, vinyl, and retrofit lighting.

Oh man that's way too much. I'll see tomorrow what River City will charge to install and align.

For sure man I'll end up needing some tint later on and probably will look into doing some headlight work done. I'd like to for sure get the headlight housing done in black.

And if you end up doing your install yourself let me know, maybe we can work something out to get mine done too

Any chance you can get a picture with a more level look instead of sideways? I find it hard to see what you are showing when I see a picture that looks like it came out of an imports tuner magazine. I am genuinely interested in seeing how it looks.
