I’m curious if anybody knows how the resale value holds up on a 2X4 PreRunner vs 4X4?

Does buying the 4X4 justify spending a little more up front and the MPG’s when it come time to sell it?

Personally I like the peace of mind this switch gives me when I need it.

This is the "Off Roading & Trails" section. Take the Prerunner talk elsewhere.

I like my 4x4 and had a 4x2 Tundra and would not have it any other way. For those who bitch at getting less miles on a 4x4 go buy a Prius, I heard they are good on gas...man up..you own a truck!!!

Up here I NEED a 4wd just to get out of the driveway in the winter. I checked today's want-ads for trucks: 3- 2wd vs 31- 4wd. Can't hardly give a 2wd away. IF I lived south tho, I'd probably have a 2wd truck.

Same here but for me its after it rains a lot. The yard gets so muddy that I can't move in 2wd. Now with the new tires, I should be able to do it in 2wd but I just need 4wd too much no not get it.
