Pardon the pun. I have been using Icon coilovers for years! Unfortunately, I wrecked my truck last week and am not able to salvage my passenger side suspension.

This leads me to shopping for replacements. Assuming I can find a decent dclb to replace my baby.

Are Kings still the best? Do people still run Icon? Do Fox's still rust?

Are Radflo, Dobinson, toytec any count?

Thanks for any and all opinions and recommendations. I live on the beach, and don't wheel very hard. However, I believe in doing it right the first time!

I'm running dobinsons mras in the front I couldn't be happier, but I'm not racing down the desert or rock crawling like Moab, I run shitty trails and Forest service roads to get to good.camp spots by lakes or good views.

Checkout ADS. I have Kings but I would also run Fox or ADS. I would go with whoever has availablity.

Went from 3rd Gen Taco to 3GT4R to 2nd Gen Taco and finally a V8 4GT4R.
If I were to get some...I'd go ADS just because you don't see many people running them. :bananadance:

King or ADS. Fox is good too but does have rust issues if that's a concern for you.

Dobinson makes great suspension stuff for more "overland" type uses vs desert racing.

I'd avoid icon just because of the thin top plates

I said F it and budgeted $4k, basically choose whatever I wanted, and went ADS. Supposed to be 5 week wait, now 12+, Kings was 34+. Availability isn't a thing currently.

What I meant by that was lowest lead times. King is like 9 months out right now.

All the new shocks come with the upgraded head. I went and bought the heads for the next time I rebuild.

Good luck finding anyone with anything in stock. Unless that's your subtle hint that you have stuff on the shelf.

We have select items on the shelf, yes. I was more referring to the long lead times are for brand new orders that go to King/Fox etc. We constantly place orders all year long, so our lead times will not be 9 months. When shopping around, make sure the vendor you go with already have the shocks on order vs placing a new order.

I had Toytec, they failed. I had Fox, they failed. The Kings have been on for three years now. I got the adjustables and love them.
