Saw this picture on JTA fab on facebook and I would really like to see/learn more about this rear suspension setup. I guess his name is Jason? Anyone know what his TW name is and if he has a build thread?

curious as to why a 3 link with panhard in the rear. I feel as though with 20in of wheel travel and probably intended high speed use the side to side axle deflection would be not wanted.

    Either way HELLA sick setup!

Yeah a better option would be a 4 link but you would have to relocate your gas tank to make that work.
I looked into doing a linkage system because I hate leaf springs so much lol. Didnt have the patience or money at the time and finally decided to go SUA for the time being. Been happy with that so far though. @Evenflow your set up is my dream set up dude, my favorite (suspension) build on this forum for sure.

The side to side movement is minimized greatly by making the pan hard bar as long as possible and locating it properly as well. You honestly don't even notice it after just a couple of days. The main reason for a 3 link vs four link is that it is my DD so...keeping the stock gas tank which you now have to do to pass inspection in CA. The gas tank itself it listed as part of the OE emissions system so it can not be removed or modified. In addition I use the bed of my truck daily so filling the bed with a fuel cell is a no go for me. The intention for the build was also not necessarily high speed use it was far more about the following :

    1. No more axle roll
    2. Infinite pinion adjustment
    3. Adjustable height when loaded down for a trip
    4. Easy spring rate changes
    5. Dual spring rates
    6. With links you don't have to sacrifice one for another like you do with leafs IE: you need an heavy expo pack if you load the truck down for trips but then the other 300 days a year it rides like shit.

ah gotcha completely understand. The area above the axle is small as hell with the tank and exhaust so i get ya for sure! I just welded on a traction bar down the centerline of the frame to the rear axle and damn it was a tough fit.

Either way one HELL of a sick rear suspension setup there!
