Nothing major or fancy. Just stuff to make it work better for me. Running boards, seat covers, BakFlip
"Cause it's damn hard to haul chainsaws and all the stuff I need to work every day in a Prius.

Haha I'm taking a welding class next semester.

Owning a truck might be a reason as to why I am taking that class :spy:

Before my 04 WRX was totalled, I always liked the 1st gen double-cabs ever since they came out, so actually I bought it for the looks for one, but I'm a practical kind of guy and a truck is one of the most practicals vehicles there is.

However, after I went wheeling with my friend, I'm even more in love with my truck because of it's offroading ability, lol. Plus I was the only one in my family without a Toyota til I got the Taco.

my first truck, was 76 el camino, was a rust bucket but, it was reliable. i paid $1100 and lasted me 4 years. i hauled my dirtbike with it. than came 97 chevy s10, great engine, not so good 4WD system. than my 02 TRD, after 8 yr without a truck, i was itching to get one, sold my WRX and and used the funds to buy TRD. i like it, it rides high, absorbs potholes, i can haul stuff and still carry 4 people. and of course off roading.

For me, I drove the hilux in Afghanistan and fell in love with the ruggedness of them. If I couldnt get the hilux here in the states, then a taco was the next best thing. no regrets whatsoever. When the time comes to replace my engine though, I am going to see about dropping in a deisel.

When the time comes to leave, just walk quietly away and dont make any fuss.

I had a SUV before this, and a bunch of cars before that. I liked my Exploder fine, but just wanted something a bit more convenient for hauling things. I could fit everything I really wanted into the explorer, but I'd have to throw the seats down and sometimes have the back window up. Which wasn't always fun in Michigan winters. Plus then my dog is up in my face, hair's flying around the car, I don't like lumber bumping my chair... a DC cab gave me essentially the same passenger capacity and cargo room (well, I guess more versatile cargo capacity). And if I really decide I hate it, I can throw on a cap and look like an SUV (kind of). But still have the benefit of a truck!

For this poll, I "need to haul stuff in the bed." Also, and perhaps more importantly, I got tired of paying insurance and registration on an older truck as well as a passenger sedan. So I sold them both and now I have one vehicle that does everything. My Taco does not get the fuel economy that the sedan did, but it makes up for that in every other way: looks, reliability, lower maintenance, residual value, excellent SR5 convenience package, etc etc. Funny how the radial tires on the Taco are the *exact* same size as the ones the sedan had.
