i had trucks a couple of times in my younger years and missed them, plus i've been increasingly needed to make do without one (or borrow one) more and more often in the last couple years.

some random asshole hit me going 60 on i95, and my wife was tired of hearing me complain about fitting stuff in the back of the cars...so what an opportunity! plus, she's the negotiator from *hell* and we got the thing for a great price...I mean, I'd feel sorry for the IRS if they ever audit us...

Was tired of not having 4wd for the snow. Plus I'm getting a boat this summer. Impala SS I had wasn't going to cut it for that.

I'm on and off of construction sites 7 or 8 times a day. I would destroy a car in a month. I also haul filthy construction equipment several times a week.

everything a pickup does i use it for it, except for longer trips i have an Audi A4, better mileage and a hell of a lot quicker and more fun on the road.

The ability to put stuff in the bed was the number one priority. I had to fit a 5HP Husqvarna lawn mower diagonally on the back seat of my Subaru Impreza sedan. Not a pretty sight or fun to get in and out without damaging the upholstery.

Secondly, I want to start exploring places where the Subaru's ground clearance becomes a liability.

I always wanted to buy truck for 10 years. Thought about SUV and brought and don't like it after 5 years. I am tall and dont like to get in and out of the car. First I thought it was cool when I see back to the future movie. When I saw that black truck, look sexy. After research and decide buy Tacoma. Love it and I am glad to pick this truck.

I bought a pick up again because my wife said I wanted one.
No really, I would ahve been happy driving an something more economical.

Well I wanted an outback but she didn't want my hockey equipment inside any of the new vehicles so a pick was the only choice I had

(Former Tacoma owner) 17" Mustang wheels, Eclipse AVN 5435, Deck plate mod, vertical Maglite mount, K&N high-flow air filter, Delta gullwing box, amp, sub, 30 percent tint, floor lighting, tilt activated glove box lighting, lighting behind seat, engine bay lighting, SR5 grill surround, power windows, outside temp display
It wa given to me. Even if it wasn't, I'd still buy it. I believe every urban and suburban houshold would do well to own a truck.
