Well I got a lot of response from my question.. Some were very good and made me think about how this forum draws complaints, [NOTED] Some were off the beaten path but funny. Thanks for all that chimed in.. Over all the feeling I got was people really liked there tacos and not everyone was having these kind issues. THAT MAKES ME HAPPY !! I really want to enjoy this PRO and hope I can.:)

What I have found useful is I check to see if I have the problem that they post about and so far my 17 has been good but it's nice to know what to look for .

Thank you for getting back to us. I was getting worried we would never have this conclusion.

Like with all other soapbox platforms, people are more pushed to complain about rather than to praise something.

Forums are the most distilled version of that.

I freakin love my truck. All vehicles have troubles, I work at an OEM, I know these things, yet so few people are willing to accept that and cannot be pleased when the inevitable happens. Then they go full Karen on the dealership then whine here when they were told to shove their ebay-built "influencer" brodozer up their offramp.

Enjoy your new toy and be nice to people, you should have very few issues.

I'm coming from Mazdaspeed forums where cracking a ringland or windowing the block is pretty normal. Nobody even has a chance to complain about the small stuff :)

We’re in that decadent, lazy period of Tacoma civilization before our tribe gets overthrown by electric cars from abroad. It’s basically 4th C. Rome. Enjoy it while it lasts.

I love my 2020 Pro. Is it perfect? Does it have all of the amenities of a Lexus? Does it drive like my BMW 328Ci or corner like my Z3? The answer to every one of those questions is NO. Yet, I still love this truck because....it's a well-made, capable, fun, sturdy, fun to drive....mid-sized truck. I'm pretty sure that's what I bought. So, it performs, feels and handles just like that.

I hope you learn to love yours as much as I do mine.

    Windowing the block

I have spent loads of time in the Subaru world, I'm on Subaru #8 now. I'm into the older ones... ya know the ones where headgaskets are almost a maintenance item? Still love 'em. That's key to being happy with a vehicle, finding one that makes you feel so good when you're using it for it's purpose that you're ok with the flaws. Yes, my RS has already had headgaskets in the year I've had it. When the OG EJ25 dies, yeah, itll probably get swapped. Or maybe not, I've loved these cars since the 555 WRC days and it makes me feel like I just got my license.

Vehicles are both tools and toys, it's a delicate balance if you can only have one. In my tacoma's particular trim, it's a fantastic Swiss army knife of a truck.

We're on #10. Lynn had a '73 Subaru sedan when we were married and my first new car was this beast.

'76 4 wheel drive wagon - the first year they made a 4 wheel drive model.

    1976 Subaru Front.jpg 1976 Subaru Side.jpg

I've had a Brat and a Baja, Lynn had a Tribeca and for the last 3 years we've both been driving Outbacks as our daily drivers. We just sold her 2010 - one of those that needed a head gasket at 80,000 and she now has my 2019 Outback since I now have the Tacoma. Great vehicles and here in northeast they go through any weather.

ANY car forum is going to have a lot of a few different types of posts

    Mods and upgrades
    Accessories
    Problems

People don't come to forums like this to say "I haven't done anything to my <insert car here>, I don't want to do anything to my <insert car here>, and I have no problems with it."

Now that’s what the new Bronco SHOULD have looked like.
