Thats pretty low. With a mix of city/highway driving i've been averaging 22.5 mpg give or take a couple tenths fairly steady now.

Wow! That’s incredible! I’ve never come close to that with mine at those speeds, Even when stock. In fact, I actually very rarely drive at those speeds, anything over 70mph and my fuel mileage tanks.

Is this another MPG troll thread? The EPA rated fuel economy is pretty much dead on from my experience (now at 40k miles). It's a truck. Just admire how sweet your Tacoma is and stop thinking it's ever going to get good mileage....or go buy something designed for good fuel economy cause it isn't the Tacoma.

Just did a very quick road trip last weekend from Calgary to Swift Current Saskatchewan and back in the day. I averaged 124 kmph (77mph) for the trip as the roads were in great condition with very light traffic and no visible enforcement. I do not use cruise control. My 2019 TRD Sport manual got 8.754 kilometres per litre or 20.58 mpg using the US gallon or 24.72 mpg using the imperial gallon calculation. That calculated out to 11.424 litres/100 km's. I was pretty happy with that.

I was getting 25-26 on my ‘17 2WD Limited (mostly highway driving) with Tunneau cover. After replacing the OEM tires with Cooper ST Maxx 265/65/R18, removing air dam, and installing TRD Pro skid plate, I got 21.2 mpg In my latest trip from Houston to Dallas while averaging ~73 mph.

Im averaging 20.1 mpg on my daily commute. Now thats up/down, winding mountain roads.

I couldnt be happier with the gas mileage on this truck. Made me love it even more.

MY 2013 averaged 19-20 mpg over it’s 150,000 life with me. My 2020 is averaging 24-25 mpg for it’s 2000 miles so far. (Not including 4wheel drive operation in the 13,haven’t used it in the 20) This is/was using actual miles/gallons figured out each tank not using the fancy gauge.

Just filled up the taco, and calculated the exact fuel economy from all the mileage i traveled on the previous tankful. That fancy electronic gauge in the dash is pretty close. My actual mileage came out to 23.6

It's very accurate in my truck too, every time I hand calculate it will be +/- .1 or .2. Last tank on the dash said 21.6 and hand calculated at 21.7.

In northern Kentucky, local driving, lots of stop and go and lots of hills, I get around 15 or 16 mpg. Out on the interstate, long trips, CONSERVATIVE speeds (60-65), I get around 20-22.
