    Huh? The XCR pre-dates the ACR, and is based on/related to the AK47 system. The ACR is an unrelated Bushmaster production version of a MagPul design.

    Old thread, but I'm bumping it anyways...its a good discussion.
    Oh and I'll keep my 5.56 Saiga AK....best of both worlds :) working on an AR lower conversion...similar to the texas AK designs mag/grip adapter and stock adapter combo like this folllowing
