    I would like to see test results validating this. I have seen tests showing .9g, a far cry from .96. Still impressive numbers for a vehicle with decidedly forward weight bias.

    Funny how things get faster while bench racing.

    So, I guess that the answer to "Why an X-Runner" would be why not? To each their own, it is kinda neat to go relatively fast in a vehicle not usually known for handling and speed (a pickup truck). If all one wanted to do was go fast without originality, you all would drive the same car, whichever had the quickest specs off the showroom floor.

    The nice thing about this hobby is that we get to make our own decisions and express ourselves. If I wanted the best,stock off road vehicle, I would not have chosen a Tacoma, nor would I have chosen a pickup truck. If I wanted a vehicle with the highest payload (a traditional use for truck) I certainly would not have gotten a Tacoma. If I wanted a vehicle with the longest expected life span, I would not have likely gotten a Toyota (Honda would be my choice). But, I chose a pickup truck, which happens to be a Tacoma because I liked it and I had the opportunity and the challenge of making it better and different than it was from the factory.

    So, X-Runner guys, build your trucks, enjoy the hell out of them. Everyone else, you can say that there are faster or better handling vehicles out there, but almost without exception, no matter what you drive someone will have a faster or better handling vehicle, so let others enjoy the choices that they have made.
