My first car was a 1979 Civic. Loved it, very reliable...until I got into an accident going literally 5 mph....after that, the Honda Civic was more of a Honda Accordion. :(

You guys need to relax... I got nothing against civics and as a matter of fact i used to drive a 1992 CRX (never riced out). I really like Honda i just thought the joke was funny is all. I was hoping someone would bag on dodge, cheve, or ford because all my buddies at work swear they are the best trucks in the world. They hate on me because im the only one driving an import truck.

BTW as nice as hondas are, i prefer my taco hands down.

Why is everyone bashing honda engineering? Apparently none of you have ever ridden in a boosted k20 civ or rsx.. 14lbs is scary. Easy 500hp stock block with e85

Ya i like when people say they need good ole american muscle at the drag strip. You can easily have a honda make 400+ wheel horsepower and run 9s, 10s, and 11s all day long

Just to see we're not picking on honda's here are some other jokes.

    CHEVY:
Q: How is a golf ball different from a Chevy?
A: You can drive a golf ball 200 yards.

    Q. Whats the difference between a Chevy and a Tampon?
    A. A tampon comes with its own tow rope!

    Q. Why do Chevys have magnetized bumpers
    A. To pick up the parts that fall off other Chevys

    Q. How do you make a Chevy accelerate 0-60 mph in less than 15
    seconds?
    A. Push it off a cliff.

    Q. What is found on the last two pages of every Chevy's owners manual?
    A. The bus schedule.

    FORD:

    * A man pulls up next to a girl walking home from school and said: "If you get in, I'll give you a Lollypop."
The girl kept on walking and the man said: "If you get in I'll give you two Lollypops."
The girl kept her eyes on the sidewalk and continued walking. The man said: "Get in and I'll give you a whole bag of Lollypops."
Finally, the girl turned and said: "Look Dad, You bought the FORD, You ride in it!!!"

    * Ashes to ashes
    Dust to dust
    If it wasn't for Fords
    Our tools would rust.

    * Here I sit broken hearted
Wishing that my Ford would have started
    But it didn't, so that's a rap
So I think I'll shoot that piece of crap.

I've had 2 civics and they were awesome. I now have a TSX and the only thing I'd change about it is I wish it was AWD. It has the slickest gearbox I've ever tried, amazing handling and very smooth power delivery. And damn I love to rev the crap out of it. Honda has got it pretty well figured out.

Yea in my experience Honda's are more reliable than even toyotas. If honda made a truck that looked as good as my taco i would consider driving that instead.
