So in 100% of car pedestrian accidents its because the pedestrian ran out into traffic or did something wrong

You should try riding a motorcycle to the letter if the law and see how cars drive and cut you off continuously

They only adequate for people driving to malls. Others for example:
    1. Drive couple cords of wood for whole day on New England hills on summer day, and all you going to have is front brakes.
    2. Drive through unfrozen stream in middle of winter on snow trail, and let the -14F freeze your brakes.
If you lucky you just dont have rear brakes, if you unlucky you can not move truck or break axle...
    3. ABS kicks in in winter and trys to kill ya with no rear brakes..

Since Toyota spend last 20 years trying to perfect frame painting technology, or how to make driveline with no vibrations. I guess Disc brakes is probably too much to ask.

It's gonna be tough to beat the Colorado braking performance. The GM twins have larger rear brakes than fronts. The Tacoma will be adequate for most mall crawling and Costco running duties. For somebody that regularly tows 1k-3k trailers that don't require brakes, having the extra stopping power that the Twins provide is a big deal.

Uh...frozen brake fluid would affect discs just as much as drums. And why the fuck would you park in a creek long enough to freeze the brakes anyway? What kind of dumbass argument is this?

Ah fuck...blueT got me again. Damn quotes!

It's not the brake fluid, it's the brake drums and brake components themselves. I drive through a river every time I go hunting and Park within 30 seconds afterwards.and then sitting in the cold. I actually use my vehicle for more than just going to the mall

There's a reason why they went to disc brakes on the tundra and that is one of them

Get outa here fanboy. Everybody knows drum brakes suck and Tacomas are rolling death traps that have been causing brake related injuries and deaths for decades now.

Edit: and who needs a trailer brake? Pfft...if I had disc I wouldnt need no stinking trailer brake. Can tow 8000lbs with 4 wheel disc.

Well if the 2016 Tacoma has such bad brakes, then the 2005 - 2015 also have such bad brakes.

Why would anyone have purchased a 2005-2015 vehicle knowing it does not have disc brakes all around.

Seems some posters would be dying to get rid of their 2005-2015 Tacoma. :D

Are you angry they tested available trucks in 2015 ? You think 2016 with drum brakes on the back will do any better?
Tacoma was the only truck in the group with drum brakes and its last in emergency braking.

2005-2015 is old model. Majority of midsize trucks in 2005 had rear drum brakes, so there was not much choice there.
Its 2015 going on 2016. I think time is up.

Why are you driving your Tacoma with such bad brakes? All your posts point to the your opinion that drum brakes in the rear is a major safety flaw.

What makes your Tacoma acceptable to drive and not a 2016?

Maybe you should get rid of your death trap.
