    Very true.
The last two Tacos i negotiated hard on the price and the interest amount. Salesmen kept pushing me toward "well here's yiur monthly payment" BS. You literally have to be an ass and say I don't care about the payment-I only want to know the all in price.
And if it's anything above or equal to what toyota.ca has on the website - it's no deal.
Then you have to deal with "finance" team.
Although sterotyping is never a good thing - watch out for them.

I caught finance guy putting in $2000 into the end of my deal on the first taco I bought.
Only after I ran the numbers with right in front him before I signed was he like" oh that's a mistake. Let me fix that." "Yiur not like most customers - most don't ever ask to borrow my calculator."

Use an online loan calculator and know exactly how much interest yiur paying over the term and what your final principal amount is.

Probably why everyone hates buying a new car. There's no straightforward way to buy one.

It should be as easy as going to a .COM website and running through the options you want, and having it present a detailed breakdown and final price. But no, the automobile industry and dealer channel fight to prevent internet purchases. Why? Because once they open Pandora's box, thousands of people will lose their jobs. It happened in the travel industry. It will eventually happen in the automobile industry.

My deal went to Toyota and I got a letter from them dropping my percentage rate 2%. Corporate is OK in my book.

They are paying because they want it and that's the price. I don't criticize their freedom even if I don't believe it's the smartest course of action.

I traded my 2010 DCSB Sport and was given $21,000. We're in the same ball park as far as trade-in.

If I would've waited longer to get a better deal on my 2016, my trade-in value would have also dropped. Buy now, buy later, end results same thing.

Fine by me. If I don't like the price of something or don't think it's with the price--i don't buy it. Simple as that.

Supply and demand. That being said, I'd never pay over invoice and didn't for my DCLB V6 4x4 inferno.
