I wondered how VW was getting past emissions...oh they weren't...

All of mine have rattled one way or another....though I don't use mine for crawling malls. Most solid truck I have ever had was my '76 F250...of course that is when trucks were made mostly of metal...

I don't hate ANYTHING......But I absolutely ADORE any thread where you can get so many people so riled up over so much of nothing!

What DON'T I like about 2016 Tacoma's?.....How about the printing in lower right hand corner of the piece of paper glued to the side window for starters.....I'll keep my second hand 2011 and leave a rather substantial portion of my paycheck in my wallet.

That is all. Back to insulting each other please.

I like the 3 gen. I'm not really feeling the 16 model tho.

The 3rd Gen is a big step backwards in the engine and looks departments. And this is a discussion forum, right?

Toyota took a swing and missed. I have no doubt Gen 3s ones will still be reliable, but the enjoyment of driving has been diminished. And there are lots of other choices out there Toyota......

The 2nd gen looks, feels, and drives ancient compared to the 3rd gen. That is all.

P.S. Sorry to all you 2014/2015 owners that bought not knowing the new gen was coming.

    Actually this thread is GREAT!!
Great thread for the ignore button.....

    Start on page one and..
Ignore those who don't have one currently (unless ordered).
Ignore those who don't want one
    Ignore those who bash them

Really cleans up the 3rd Gen forum and leaves the posts to actual owners, those who want them, or waiting for theirs. All the sophomoric crapping in threads is gone

I was letting myself get worked up over the disregarding comments. Opinions and engaged conversation is expected, there will be some that voice their displeasure, but it's the rambling on and on in multiple threads stating the same thing over and over by the same individuals that becomes annoying. The delivery as well has a lot to do with it and makes many of the comments seem down right disrespectful and trollish.

I came here for useful insight on the new truck and those that can share their own experiences to help new owners along and I'm keeping it focused on that. I'm done with all the negative banter.
