I believe the Limited is the only one that comes with that, think it is in the rear view mirror so it could easily be added to another model Tacoma

No need to apologize. You came here looking for answers. Don't pay any attention to dumb responses you may get. Just so you know, we're a a little sensitive when new folks join. This forum gets it's fair share of trollers and we tend to shut them down fairly quickly. So keep asking away.

Just so its clear, I was not trying to imply anything other than the search function will show him multiple posts of almost anything he wants to know.

I have an Off Road that comes standard with homelink (garage door opener). I am in Canada though so our trims obviously have different equipment. If we have them up here it should be very simple to add it even as part of negotiating process.

There was a poll a while back and vast majority of owners on this forum have Off Road Tacomas.

What's so wrong with post #15.
No one should rely on CR to have a fair car review.
Plenty of comparisons here between Sport vs OR.

If OP is referring to the lack of vehicle reviews for the OR, I understand. It seems like every YouTube or magazine review has either a sport or pro as their test mule.
OP, if you want the offroad tech of the pro, but you are planning on modding the truck, I would go with the OR.

The off-road is the same as the pro minus the trd add ons, suspension, hood, exhaust, skid, etc. The off-road has all the same wheeling toys. Electronics, locking diff, etc. The sport wouldn't go off-road where I go, wouldn't make it. Or would be lots of skinny pedal. For me the pro and the off-road were the same price. But wanted a roof, and already junked the suspension for a lift. The pro suspension is sweet if you are staying at stock height. Really the only thing I want from the pro is the exhaust. Figure out your type of driving. If you're on trails and do off camber stuff or wheeling at all, get the off-road or pro.

I've only found 1 good full review on the OR that seemed unbiased & the others were from toyota...like an advertisement. There was one review comparing Tacoma to Tundra but its like comparing apples & oranges.

We bought the OR for one reason: the 8.75" rear end with factory e-locker (vs the 8.4" rear end in the base and Sport models). Beyond that, nothing on the OR was a selling point (crawl control, etc.).

Best option is to test drive them all and decide for yourself. I did... multiple times. I trust my opinion over a bunch of forum guys lol.

the poll did favor the OR, but that's because only or owners were at home on a sat night. Sports owners were busy with the ladies
