Or, I'll compare vehicle to vehicle. What parts in the truck are Fiat made? What makes Fiat parts bad? You can't just lay down empty words with no substantiation. Well, you can..but that just makes your argument fall flat.

And the 8speed transmission in the Rams are the same ones you'll find in a Rolls Royce Phantom

Im consistently getting 23-24 highway on a stock TRD Offroad. That is better than my old Subaru was getting. Im not going to complain about that. If I wanted a prius I would have bought one. Now the city mileage. That isn't so great. The RPMs are not free.

Yeah, thought I'd read that they have had some "issues." I'm kind of ambivalent about diesels, but the one that kind of intrigues me is the new Nissan Titan XD with the Cummins 5 liter.

 

I'm waiting to see how they work out. First Nissan diesel and first Cummins aluminum head v8. I'm not holding my breath

 

Woot. Half ton towing at a three quarter ton price! I was really disappointed once they released the Titan XD numbers. It was supposed to be a 3/4 ton at 1/2 price... not the other way around. At the Titan XD price tag you can have a really nice 3/4 ton GM, Ford, or Ram Diesel truck that is more capable. Sounds like another arguement, no? LOL.

 

Chevy 6.2 half ton will out tow the Titan diesel

Rocking 18.8 on my 16 TRD OFF road 6 died right now.. I've double clutched and goofed off this entire tank so far...

 

I came from a Ram 1500 with the 8-speed tranny. It's actually made by ZF, a German company and is in many high end vehicles. It is an amazing transmission and was by far the best part of the truck. Always in the right gear, smooth shifting, and anytime it was driven aggressively it would quickly adapt and shift faster, downshift more aggressively, etc.

 

Any of the big three gas job 3/4 tons out tow the Titan lol. Nissan fell short of expectations for most people.
