    Welcome to the Forum!
Physical damage to the turn signal circuit. Have the hazards and Turn signals ever worked??

Time to rule out the switch break out your meter.

Quite possible the new flasher might not work

Do you have power to the light bulb? If you have power then check the ground of the circuit.

Check at the bulb then work your way back to the fuse block. Pull a wiring diagram off the net and check if there's any junctions you can test along the way.

What happens if you turn on your hazard lights?
This will help us know what direction to take in figuring out the issue.

The turn signals go through the hazard switch, then to the flasher, then to the turn signal switch.
    2 things to check.

The flasher relay terminals in the box, and the Hazard switch.
