Why be afraid of 1st Yr 2016 Model?

    I would agree, but there is foul play on both sides, some refuse to acknowledge legitimate issues, concerns or facts labeling it as hate, but there are some ridiculous arguments and straight up hate as well. The trucks are just different, sure they share some of the same but the powertrains and new tech just makes it a different truck just like the 1st from 2nd gen. No one's is better or worse, its what need that suits you in my opinion, each gen has their strong points and weak points. I've owned the first two gens and plan on owning a 3rd gen as well later.

    More power? That's cute. The new 3.5 has LESS power (266 lb ft >265 lb ft). The 2016 can spin faster and get you more HP but peak HP is at 6000 RPM.

    Just playing devil's advocate, the 2016 is better in a lot of areas, but lets not kid ourselves in how much. For instance my 2015 on 285's with a 3 inch lift gets 17-18mpg consistently, many 2016 OR owners are reporting 19-20mpg.
