Why can't I find a 4 cylinder Double Cab? May go out of state.

I got 23/24 average MPG in stock form and my all time high was 28.

    That was impressive.

Once I left stock form I left stock mileage. Now I'm at 17.5-18.5 and I've never hit 20 MPG, and I repeat the same 28 MPG trip several times a year.

It does not respond well to extra weight or higher sustained RPM. Like over 2000 RPM on the freeway, even in stock form, is a substantial loss of fuel efficiency.

There was a 14 mgm 5 luger at a local dealership a month or so ago. Idk if it's still there. Iirc no flares either.

It's strange hearing about how rare the 4cyl Double Cabs are, since the dealer I bought my truck from in Central FL had 4 when I went in.
Hell, they have 3 right now. the sales guy kept asking me if I needed to have the V6...

The reason why I went with the 4 cylinder 5 speed 4x4 is cause I know the motor has been proven and it's bulletproof! Two is that I won't buy a automatic. And three I bought a base Model SR so I can do whatever modifications to it to make it how I want it and let me tell you what I have done tons to it! The only thing I'm still on a hunt for is a sport scooped hood and my truck will almost be complete! Been on the hunt for a year and still no luck finding one...... Here is the link to my build thread!
