Agreed. I’d love to have the full rear glass drop like the tundra!

I got a ten year old boy child that produces more methane than a herd of Texas long horn steer after a chilli eating contest. Best reason for the sunroof and the magic window!

My first gen says otherwise! Rear window roll down is amazing! By the way the first gen needs some armor loving....

There’s a member here who has a 2016 and bought all the parts to the power window and modded it himself. I think he goes by “ROBDMAN”

Alternatively you can accept the challenge and outdo them. That's my favorite retaliation. Lock the windows and let 'er rip. :anonymous:

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

1st gen owners are a very vocal group but they don't really buy anything. I've heard countless times 1st gens need armor! Well you guys will have to put your money where your mouth is if you want manufactures to make parts for your model. We have been slowly removing them from our line up due to lack of sales. If the markets there we will make it but the 1st gen market is very slow to say the least.

I added one to my '17 AC. Love it! Gets nice circulation going through the cab.

Don't see why not. Look for one in a scrapyard. They are glued in so you might be better off having a body shop swap them out.

Rear window lowering was one of the most awesome features of the 4Runner. I hated to concede that feature when I traded for a Tacoma - but wanted manual trans even more.

What the heck is the point... don’t see any useful function. As valuable as a convertible during winter in the arctic. At least in the ol’ station wagon (or current SUV) you could load stuff in the back with the window down, here not so much.

I love that my Sequoia has this feature! Same as the 4runners.

If I ever bought a tundra, this is a must have for me!

Back in the early to mid 90's At the dealership I worked at in Hawaii. We'd installed power back windows in Mazda pick ups it was the full window too. They were cool but did take up some space behind the seat .

I think it’s because the lower trims have a manual little window. So the higher trims got the power little window, instead of redesigning the whole window
