Get clazzio leather seats covers if the cloth seats bother you. If it’s the quietness, I had a Rav4 and the Tacos interior noise is the same (before the 33s of course). If it’s the infotainment upgrade the screen, forgot what it’s called lol.

Rav4 is slow as molasses btw. You will be annoyed at that.

    It isn’t.

The buying public is not a niche owner, and the Tacoma is not a purpose built off-road truck. It’s a midsize truck platform, no different than any other midsize truck platform. Everything has an off-road package, that doesn’t make it what it isn’t.

    I like the new ravs.

I think the new ravs would be more popular if it wasn't branded as a rav. If someone says they bought a rav I'm either going to assume you're a female or you drive one of these.

True that. Most Toyota fans I know have a bias towards the 4Runner as thee off-road SUV option.

It is. The origianal quote said "more than other vehicles" and I standby that is true. Of course the average guy doesn't go offroad much, if ever. But do you think they do more often in a Ranger? how about a ram? f150? How about, as is pertinent to this discussion, the Rav4?

I got all the heated stuff and a nice interior. Heated seats are standard in Canada on the TRD as is heated mirrors and dual zone. Love the styling. Best looking interior I’ve ever been in. What am I missing?

I’m pretty sure that’s not the case. (Heated Steering Wheel)

How soft does a man need to be to need a heated steering wheel and seats?

Good time to be alive, grandpa used a 1983 Toyota truck for his outdoor adventures and todays Toyota truck owners need enough room to carry all the props for a circus and it needs to have heated seats.

I would have bought a 4WD regular cab if they still made them

Agree. It’s ridiculous that the 2020 Taco has power seats. Geezus, the base RAV LE has a mechanical seat elevator lever. That’s really all the Taco has needed for 15 years.

Don't worry the next layer of bitching will be a passenger power seat, rear reclining seats, cooled seats and memory seats. When the 4th gen rolls out people will bitch and moan because the truck is nearly the size of a Tundra.

Meanwhile, I hope our 2015 Rav4 lasts a long time because I am not a fan of the new Rav4 front end.
Also, I think the moonroof has been opened maybe three times for actual use and the dual climate control stays on sync so they are the same temp.
I did not get a moonroof or dual climate control in my truck.
Heated steering wheel? I ride my motorcycle in 30 degree temps, what is this heated steering wheel and seats?

Agree. We’ve been disappointed in the RAV for years. We gave up on this puddle jumper after an 04 and are on our 2nd Venza which is twice the car and comparable in price one year removed. Since they stopped making them, they’re a great buy.

Trade it. We bought a used 2014 Venza and never looked back at these ridiculous RAV over priced puddle jumpers.
