I contacted the vendor I bought them from at first and they told me I needed to get in touch with bilstein directly for warranty claims.

That is good to hear, have a build thread or pics? I wonder if I would need heavier springs with a 100ish pound bumper?

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
I went through RCD Racing who is acutally the vendor for the front pair of bilstein shocks on the 1st gen Tacoma (Bilstein still makes it but RCD sells it). RCD was great.

I've heard about bilstein support but since this was a coilover discussion, I was addressing RCD. I think we got the two confused.

I recently installed the Icon 3-leaf with their 2.0 VS shocks and love the way it rides now. I've used the Icon 3-leaf pack before so I expected it to ride nice. :burnrubber:

Sorry, I didn't read the whole thread, but honestly the bilisteins are all about price. Better than stock but not the best shock out there is stressful conditions for sure. If you offroad every once in a while and want a better ride than stock you will likely be happy with them. Just stick to coilover versions or make sure to use an aftermarket coil at least if you want the ride quality to be good.

Unlike icon's garbage warranty, 6k miles and your on your own if you bought second hand. Truly a garbage company. I regret spending 3k+ for cdc and remote resi. I'm looking to "downgrade" to bilstein 5100s.

I wouldn't recommend icon to anyone.
