To give it a new look for the year, like how they started changing the front and rear lights for 09+ for example. I think its fugly IMO, but that's me.

Its an economical way to keep the model line "fresh". Most manufactures do (and have done) this all the time.

Though I will admit I pretty much hate every anesthetic change they've done so far.

    - The new 09+ tails are fugly.
    - The 09-10 anthracite center grill doesn't match anything, 05-08 was better
    - The smoked 09+ lights are decent but I prefer the clear running light covers over the yellowish ones
    - The 11+ grill looks like a damn ford with that hidious plastic honeycomb crap

The truck looked better de-riced imo.

Mostly stock for now, I have added a cb radio, various cheap mods and I plan on adding aftermarket wheels and other items in the future.

I think its to match the Camry and the Tundra's new grill. Same looking design in terms of the "mesh"

9" 5% front window strip, tailgate light bar, pulled off TRD stickers, removed mud flaps, blacked out tail lights very soon. There's a lot more coming, this is just the beginning.
I actually prefer the 09+ tails to the others...
