I was curious to the thoughts of you guys who bought a Limited Trim? Why did you pick this trim over the TRD OR, Sport, SR5, or Pro?

    Limited is for the ballers!
I would have gone Limited if it came with lockers.

I think most people buy it for the hickory interior.

I do like the hickory interior. I'm not a fan of all black interiors

There was a recent Thread here that l think was titled "By The Numbers". Anyway the attached article said that Toyota says 50 percent of all Tacoma sales are Off Road models, wish it broke down on how all the other trims totaled the other 50 percent but it did not.

    Heres my guess

    SR - 8%
    SR5 - 15%
    TRD Sport - 25%
    TRD Off-Road 50%
    Limited - 1%
    TRD Pro - 1%

You are close to my guess as that is the same order l would pick too, however l would bump the Pro up slightly.

    This is my guess.

    SR - 2%
    SR5 - 2%
    Sport - 2%
    Off Road - 90%
    Limited - 2%
    Pro - 2%

I have a Limited because, in 2017, it was the only way to get leather, a moonroof, and JBL.
I would have opted for a Pro and upgraded the stereo, but they were hard to get then and well over MSRP.

Today, I would probably just get a loaded Sport.

Lol sport and off road make up 60% of sales. The other 30% is split between the rest. Pro is around 7%.
These are 2016 and 2017 numbers.

You are correct - it only says half are Off Roads, no breakdown for the other trims.

I betting of those 50% Off Road sales ... less then 50% actually go off road. :mudding:
