Why did you choose a 2nd gen over a 3rd gen?

Omg an honest review, and didn't even get angry...it didn't seem real hard...why can nobody else who owns a 3rd gen do that?

New 2018 tacoma with all of the road assistance crap if you lift your truck you void the warrenty, I wouldnt get a new one if you are planning on lifting.

I have 2006 dcsb trd 4x4 I bought it 2014.I took it for one of the many recalls leaf spring that was in late 2016 . Dealership told me I need anew frame went in for new one they gave me brand new 2017 drove it for 3 weeks that was all I needed to know 3gen was not for me didn't like it all .On a more recent note a friend had a 2018 on a lease 4 trips to the dealership they could not fix a drive line vibration took the truck back gave her a new 4runner 3rd gen no thanks

 

Yes.. in order to appreciate the simplicity of the 2nd gen, spend some time in a 1st gen or even a "pre"gen 3.0/22re

I don't hate 3rd gen guys, i like to give a little shit from time to time. Sometimes I get lucky and rope a guy in to give me lesson's.
