I would make sure you print this out, so you can read to the Officer and Judge. I am sure they will enjoy it.

Trust me, if he really does what he says he does here in the lowcountry, it's just a matter of time before one of the good old boys puts him in his place. the shit isn't tolerated around here, and he knows it.

understand where youre coming from, but brake checking anyone should never be your first reaction every time you think somebody gets to close to you. if you have in fact gotten so good at this, i think you might be the one that needs to reevaluate your driving habits.

It was his contention that he could drive in any lane he pleased as long as he was doing the speed limit. This is not true.

I'm generally a courteous driver. I'm not the slowest on the road nor the fastest. I usually stay out of the left lane because that's the lane the cops are usually looking at. You can drive just as fast 1 lane over to the right. If you are driving under the speed limit on the freeway and you aren't driving a semi then you should have your license pulled. I move over most of the time for cars that want to pass and I've also slowed down to the speed limit for the occasional a$$hole driver. Bottom line is that some people shouldn't be on the road because they can't drive and some others shouldn't be on the road because they drive recklessly.

Dude, if you really do this BS, you should seriously consider getting bulletproof rear glass.. cuz your gonna piss somebody off who has already had a bad day, and has a loaded gun. I hope it doesn't come to that, but its a disaster waiting to happen.

Oh please. How long have you lived in SC?

. The "good Ole boys" are the ones who are likely to do the most brake checking if you happen to want them to move a faster. You forget the S L O W pace of life here compared to the rest of the country.

Not really. Seems pretty likely from your preferred maneuver. The road is a shared resource. It's not all about you. Countering a mildy unsafe situation when both drivers are in control with an unsafe surprise maneuver than can potentially cause both drivers to lose control is just irresponsible. If the driver behind you swerves, and another car is beside him...nevermind, you seem impervious to reason. Good bye.

    Guys, don't worry.
Brake checking and running people into the median is the freeway's way of darwinism.

One day, he'll try to troll a semi that's "too close", slam on the brakes, and win a darwin award in the "trolling retard pancake" category.

Completely and totally not relevant to any situation I described and we can and do carry loaded guns in our vehicles not "Mag lights" LOL. Never had an incident even remotely like your description.

There is a great need for brake checking if someone is following to close. I do NOT want to get rear ended if I have to stop quickly for anything PERIOD. I don not want to have be glued to my six because I cannot move and someone is in a hurry because they did not plan well. Ride a bike for a few hundred thousand miles and you might understand things a little more clearly
