I've got a 2013 that I'm planning on keeping for about 15 years (cross fingers) so I put some covers on just so things will stay a little nicer. that's it.

Same here. I wanted leather - easier to keep clean in the long haul

I am waiting on my recently ordered wet okoles. I bought a set because my wife has neck/back issues and with the added padding of the neoprene and the lumbar support add-on, it will be a much more comfortable seat for her. (passenger seats don't come with stock lumbar support). I am also looking for the extra protection and durability. I plan of keeping this truck as long as I can.

The sport seats are like Velcro to dog hair (German Shepherd), got the Clazzio leather seat covers. They are easy to keep clean and vacuum up with ease. Plus they look really good.

After running my '96 around in the desert for 15 years there was no amount of cleaning that could remove the dirt smell from the cab so I put katskins in this one. Now I just wipe it down with leather conditioner when I get home and its good to go.

Was going to go for wet okole's but the more i thought, i realized i want leather. had it in my 3rd gen t4r and loved it. never had a problem with durability or cleaning. that was with three pit bulls too.
This taco will get a set of Katzkins. I'm not a fan of cloth interior anyways and they look great.

Why Wet Okoles? I live in Hawaii. First major upgrade when I bought this truck was my Wet Okoles. We Camp, Paddle board, Off Road, Eat while driving, Kids, Drive in my swimsuit ( thus the name wet okole) , Wet towels, Wet clothes during heavy rains, have a dog, etc. They vaccum up really well. Washes up well with wetsuit soap and look awesome. Them feel good too, adding more cushion for the rough off roading. I had another set on a Dodge Ram years ago. If you buy them from a dealer, You get to pick out the little design on the headrest . I have dolphins :). They were custom made and measured for my truck.:cool:

Yup, probably covers it for 99% of us with covers, other 1% wanted leather.

Same reason you wear a condom with a hooker, wanna have a good time but can't come home all dirty. :washing:

The TRD seats are terrible about holding dirt and then rubbing it in with the mesh on them. And, as already mentioned, some of us actually use our trucks as trucks and they get dirty.

I thought about buying seat covers also. But then I just thought a would spend that money somewhere else and once my seats are broken down, I would replace the whole thing and not just the upholstery.
