might need an air impact wrench to bang those off. douche them down good with a good penetrant like AeroKroil or PB Blaster first, let it soak in for an hour, spray a bit more on, THEN try the air wrench.

i'm out of luck at the moment, i don't have an air impact wrench. gonna try the ol' trusty ratchet again and if that doesn't work i'll see what other options i have.

Any good tire store SHOULD be able to pull them off for you...

I skimmed this whole post, and didn't see mention of what size wheels and tires these are?

they were probably put on with loctite, a bunch of lube and a long breaker bar should break them, Im just kinda wondering why the PO would put spacers on only the front if it didnt rub :notsure:

Do you have a piece of long pipe that you can use as a breaker bar?

That'll work. Still wouldn't be a bad idea to soak them in pb blaster or WD40 first. That way they don't accidentally snap the stud off.

lol one of the best investments Ive made was a 3 foot length of iron pipe, never fails

OP, you should start building up your tool arsenal, save yourself lots of money getting work done.

I just use my floor jack handle if necessary, although my 20" breaker bar or my impact gets it off 99% of the time.

They usually recommend red loctite which usually wants heat to loosen.

okay guys it looks like the plot thickens.

so i got to thinking... and those are some pretty sizable spacers. there must be a reason the PO put them on, right? i didn't measure them, but they look to be wider than inch (possibly even closer to 2).

so i'm sitting here thinking that i can finally get rid of this yee-yee looking stance. but then i realized that my UCA is fairly close to the inside of my wheel. not unbearably close, but fairly close. i don't want my wheels to rub my UCA. what do y'all think?

for reference: my older wheels were the stock Sport Rims. 17x7.5, 5.5 backspace.

these new wheels are 17x8 4.5 backspace.

i'm not sure if this info will help, but it possibly could.

You going crazy talking to yourself??

No, you shouldn't rub the UCA with those specs and tire size.
