An AAR of the last 13 threads?
Geeze. Ok. Nathan terrazas is full of shit. I, much like Hannibal lector, was patiently waiting for beheadings alongside knooger who does wildly innapropriate things ala meegs. Absolutely NOBODY has played Pokémon
(Which is horseshit because I have seen attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion and I've fucking played Pokémon), some people got good deals, some got average deals (big shocker there), mods were probably on the trigger JUST WAITING. I have NEVER played Pokémon. Donny baker is out there somewhere. Body fluid innuendo all over this thread. This thread is literally a biohazard.

You haven't been posting on the 3rd gen forums long have you? This is nothing :bananadead: You should have seen when the first announced the truck and the first pics and details came out.

Good times. The mods were even scared of coming in here.

I went back and read some stuff. This place was gnarly. I read a thread where people were over reacting to the go pro mount. I think one guy even got a divorce because of it, I can't remember why, but I was like "damn dude it's just a plastic mount"

That's the other issue, people will assume you're lying just because they find it hard to believe.

Bottom line is, there's always circumstances where someone will get a way better deal than most. It happens, just because it didn't for you or me, doesn't mean it ain't true.

Live in the Seattle area and all the dealerships I went into basically said that as far as Tacomas are concerned that the price is what the price is. Heard that from multiple dealerships. They were asking MSRP though.

Got my 17' OR DCSB for $34,900 + tax, license, extended warranty etc. etc. After all was said and done I think it was $41k out the door.

Could I have gotten a better deal? probably. But I make decent enough money that I dont want to spend 8hrs squabbling over $1-2K and ruin a weekend. Have better shit to do.

People lie about stuff like price to make themselves feel special and get attention, doesn't matter what kind of attention most of the time. They just need it lol

My sister bought one from Michael's Toyota for $500 over invoice.

But at least make an attempt. You don't have to be a hardcore negotiator but at least make an attempt. Otherwise you might as well bend over and grab your ankles.

We ended up buying from Magic Toyota in Edmonds, main reason being my wife was stuck on the quicksand color (its her daily) and they had one lol

Depends on the options. One easy way to price out the itemized invoice on a specific model/trim and build for Tacoma is to use the Costco Auto Program website.
