    Same reason that people where I'm from people are decking out their trucks with "expo" gear. Plate bumpers, sliders, 33's, bed rack, roof top tent and the rear window covered in stickers. Not capable enough to run a proper trail, but way overkill for FSR's and rec sites. It's all about the look.
