Safety issue, rodents will build a HUGE nest up in there after eating the soy based wire/hood insulation :D

Those under hood mats are a fire hazard !!!

It's definitely gotta be an Asian BJ. Sometimes an OTPHJ if you are lucky enough.

I was driving my 15 today and it has grab handles on both sides and they are well designed and do not block visibility at all. Somewhere around 2001 they took away one of the grab handles in obvious cost cutting but put it back a couple years later from customer complaints.

They didn't include a hood blanket from the factory to save money on the TSB to re-glue the hood skin to the frame.

Toyota: Passing the savings onto you.

My 04 4Runner had one but I had to rip it out at about 10years old when it started falling apart and leaving fiberglass looking foam shards all over the engine.

Does the truck really need a hood insulator?
