Why does the world get the cool toyotas?

Walking around today and every other thing to pass by is a toyota crown, or a hiace van. Both so cool, why must we miss out on new old school sedans like the crown and cool vans like the hiace.

Serious that van would be so much cooler a work truck than my f150....

I saw a turbo v6 desiel hiace van with bembo brakes and te37s that reeked of dry fish today.... still wanted it.

Here in hong kong every car is high end or a jdm style work horse with wheels and big brake kit. And the teslas are everywhere, this place is lousey with wrapped model x.

 

I keep joking with the wife about importing a toyota crown comfort taxi and dropping in a new engine and trans. Fast jdm beater rwd taxi.
