I'm 5'8" (on a good day), and have zero issues with the seat. Took a 6hr trip, (each way) a few weekends ago, and no issue there either.

I want to install seat jackers but I'm all but bumping my head and tweaking my neck getting in the tacoma. I have the bottom of the seat slightly inclined already for leg support. Any higher for me and I think getting in and out will be a problem. I'm 6'3

Hi! 5’9” 180 here and love my taco!
The seat jackers really did help with positioning tho.

Yea, everyone here says they don’t reduce headspace but I lost like a quarter inch. I didn’t have much room to begin with (less that two inches) but even sitting higher, it feels more comfortable and is worth it to me.
Another concern is the distance between the front of the seat and the steering wheel. Definitely had to adjust the way I enter and exit after installing the jackers

I don't expect a Tacoma to be as accommodating as a fullsize HD truck. When comparing my regular cab Tacoma to HD regular cab Ram, Chevy of Ford. There is a lot more room which only makes sense do to the difference in size. Even the seating position is higher again there is room to accommodate this.

Comparing the seating position in my RC Tacoma to a super cab Ranger the seat is higher than the Tacoma providing more leg room for the driver. The Ranger cab super cab compared to the Tacoma access cab provides more room to accommodate the higher seating position.

I still like my RC, but there isn't much room for the driver, and I'm no where near 10' tall.

I can't expect Toyota to get more usable interior space out of the 3rd gen cabin.

Ford was able to build what is now a retired design midsize truck that offered more interior space and a higher seating position, with out sacrificing much ground clearance.

Toyota should be able to do the same.

Seriously, ive never been on a forum for a vehicle with people that bitched this much about what they bought, with no gun to their head.

Seat jackers are worth the money. $100 or the $30 knockoffs work the same

Dang hella on Amazon. I bought the og's for my driver side and loved the improvement. But for my passenger seat it would be nice to get it cheaper.

If someone is new to tacoma brand, there is only so much one can do on initial inspection and test drive. Most complaints don't pop up until a little while into ownership. A 20 min test drive isn't gonna really showcase the seat issue many talk about.

Yep. If you read this forum, it seems like everything OEM sucks. Battery, suspension, seats, paint, tires, windshield wipers, sound system, engine, transmission, headlights, taillights, interior lights… I’m sure I’m
    Forgetting some things hah.

Ive been very pleased with my truck. It’s almost perfect for me.
