I think it's a pretty simple bolt-on swap. To do everything, all you need if I remember correctly is bumper, grille, headlights, fenders, and a new hood. There was a thread on doing a Taco front end swap on here a few months ago.

Notice the Scion badge too :D

Just need the bumper, seeing how that 4runner kept the original bumper but changed over to the tacoma fenders, headlights, grille and hood I'm sure I can do the same.

I did the 4Runner dash in my Tacoma. E brake and console wasn’t difficult to install. Best thing with the 4Runner dash and console is i now have 6 cup holders in a standard cab. Was contemplating a 4Runner front end. Not sure now.

It looks good on a Tacoma if done right.

And to do it correctly you need to replace the radiator support.

2004 toyota tacoma had white faced gauges. There would be no way to know how many miles that are on this pieced together .... The 4runner limited fender flares do not mach the tacoma rear fender flairs. 2004 truck, 97-99 4runner engine it has the cooling lines for the rear heater under the passenger seat , 4runner dash- e brake- center integrated control panel, 2002 toyota 4runner front clip. This truck is a pile someone put together. It looks.... Its value is 7,500 by my guess.

I text the guy, asking questions. He didn't know anything. He said the work was done by a professional shop in Portland. He thinks the engine transmission and speedometer are from another tacoma. He told me I would not find a better truck for that price. You can see by the RPM gauge, the engine appears to be running with a check engine light on. This looks like 2 4runners and one messed up double cab. My thoughts are if you have an engine swap, you need to use an engine that is newer to pass smog. How is it possible for this truck to ever pass emissions? The transmission cable and cable cruse control tell signs that the engine is 96-99.
