Toyota knows that if they get enough bone heads to buy 3rd gens and after the fact get the camp trailer bug then they'll buy a Tundra

then I'll complain that the stamped "tundra" is off center. Absolutely appalling

Anyone ever done a rear drum delete? Not a rear disc swap, just got rid of the rear brakes altogether.

The one thing you'll never see on a Tacoma is a huge RAM, Chevy or Ford decal in the back window. That's just in case you can't figure out which truck was yours in the Wal Mart parking lot. There's bonus points if the driver's side window says Jim and the passenger side Cheryl so as to remind law enforcement who is who when they get pulled over for a DUI

Didn't consider the weight savings. Brakes just slow you down. Who needs them?

I thought they punched your licence every time you got one, and after your 3rd punch you got the free sticker?

Maybe one of the 300 rear drum threads should be a sticky to save noobs time. Or at least let them know to make it a Friday thread.

I've got a Jeep TJ with about 70k and rear shoes are just fine where I'm on my third set of rotors on the front. Jeep has a lift and big tires... Stops great as is. I tow an "overland" trailer that has its on electric brakes, which anyone towing that much with a Tacoma would usually have trailer brakes too.

Sticky could be good, if it was kept mildy informative. Otherwise, we 3rd genners can usually come up with an original Friday thread at least once a month, otherwise it's back to headrests, the proximity of the 4wd/climate knob, entune, carmax/carvana, and the transmission.
