Been researching fox 2.0 coilovers. Might be the middle ground between full blown coilovers and 5100's with preloaded springs.

Ome shocks and springs is still an option for me. I've read it's a smoother ride then the 5100's.

Spray in bed liner. 20 tint on front windows.
I have a 2015 white TRD sport 4X4 ordered. There will be no off roading with this truck. All I want to do is level the front with out being nose high. I will be putting Michelin 265/70/17 LTX MS2 tires on the stock wheels. Would it hurt to put the 1" spacers on the front which would give me the 2" lift needed to level the truck?

    I don't think you need 2"

I could be wrong but the difference on my 2012 was far less than that.

I lifted the rear 2" and the front 2-1/4" and was about 1/4" lower in the front. Sounds to me like you'd need something more like a 1/2" or at most a 3/4" spacer to give you 1" to 1.5" lift up front.

Billy 5100s set at 1.75 in the front with 265/70/17s rides and looks great. I had it on my old truck.

I have 2" or 3" Revtek coil spacers left from the PO and I'm deathly terrified of speed bumps. They level out the truck nicely with the leaf spring TSB but the front end virtually skips off the top of speed bump and plummets to the earth if I'm not down to a crawl speed. I'm sure you could get away with a 1" spacer for pavement use but I wouldn't recommend anything bigger.

I'm pretty sure the point has already been driven home by now, but someone's comment earlier about "Revtek spacers being engineered for Toyota's" made me want to chime in. :smash:

some of the streets in san francisco are so busted up than it's almost like off roading. my icon suspension really shines in this case.

I had spacers on my prerunner. I could read Braille if i drove over it. I sold the whole truck and got a 4x4 and added fox coilovers. Even if you don't offroad the ride is worth paying the extra money

    3" Revtech, Undercover flex.
Revtech is not writing the checks. Toyota is covering any issues. Seen it, have it. I, like several others on here don't need to go with a huge lift/tire combo, and find the best way for our situation to be coil spacer lifts with the optional add a leaf or blocks in the rear.

This explains why they are different...
