I agree, I have two Toyota dealers by me one I don't trust but the other one is good, if I truly had a issue I assure you they would ride with me every day until it was fixed and there boss is going to get tired of nasty emails and phone calls sooner or later I also realize it's hard for people to take off work to do that but i would definitely put the pressure on them until they got it right or give me another truck.

These trucks don't need much in warranty work to make most things go away...Like just tighten/ck some simple bolts...

Sound like a problem with your local dealer more than a problem with Toyota. After seeing the details of your deal, I would stay the hell away from that dealership.

Sorry to hear you got a bad one. Sounds like you're totally unhappy with the purchase. I imagine you're going to sell / trade it? What are you going to replace with?

It's not denial, several people feel the same way.

I noticed you didn't put a voting option for "Not having any issues" in your poll.

I believe every single issue that's been mentioned in TW but I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. 2016 TRD Off-Road built in 06/16 with 21,000 on the ticker and zero issues. Only issue has been drive-line vibes caused 100% by me after lifting and fixed with a CB drop and proper alignment :)

Can someone explain "supplier chain management?" I'm guessing it's about having reliable sources/vendors for components and parts.

Honestly, I am genuinely a Toyota Fan boy , I am admittedly biased to Toyota a long time Toyota owner and older than most here and I am disappointed in my 17 Tacoma. I started reading these forums before the 16 came out and I really didn't believe it. I followed all the negative rants and I thought for sure mine would be different and would wait for 17 till they got the bugs worked out but it just didn't happen that way. don't want to get into the whole list but had them all and feel like I should've listened to Smitty in the beginning he was preaching and I had my Toyota blinders and Toyota ear muffs on.

Yeah, the entire article was making the case that CR analysis and rating of the Tacoma was based on their analysis of expected reliability and not actual owner feedback. Interesting.

I've had my truck for a year now and not any problems thus far.Thats not to say the truck doesn't need improvements for the price of these trucks. To name a few the steering wheel is in the way getting in the truck it should go up a little higher, don't need a gopro mount could use variable wipers instead, the floor mat on passenger side should attach to floor like drivers side none of these are real problems just a little annoying for the cost of these trucks. All in all it's a good truck, Some people would never be satisfied.

I heard they have identified the problems. The assembly workers are getting cheesecake in the differential.

The whole issue is they don't sell this truck in Japan, they don't make it in Japan and the real power in Japan don't have to loose face over their product and its reputation. I assure you if you start chopping off some managers fingers this crap would get fixed or never happen.
