Wanted a truck that would work all the time & not break down. Is why I chose a 2013 instead of a 2016.

Meh. Not really. Toyota is destroying, and yes I said destroying the GM twins sales wise. They can't produce the 3rd gens fast enough from what I have been reading.

the 2015s will never die. its basically a timeless piece. as soon as I saw the 3rd gen's appearance and engine specs, I rushed to put a deposit on one of the last remaining 4x4DCSBsportpkg a thousand miles away in the east coast and used up all my savings just to place a down payment to guarantee a finance. Every time I pull up beside a 2016 on the red light, I can sense their regrets. I will eventually get a 3rd gen maybe ten yrs down the road. hopefully R&D can pull their heads out of their butts and get their shit together.

For the first 9 months of 2016 Toyota sold 142,611 Tacoma's which puts Toyota on track for a record year in sales for the Tacoma. And for the same 9 months the GM sold 107,253 Colorado's & Canyon's which is not too shabby for a fairly new vehicle. With these numbers it is hard to say how the sales of one truck is affecting the other.
