Just a few accessories, mud flaps, bed cover , racks, seat covers, ….
Mine came with nothing . We saw weather mats , but when they took the truck to get ready for us, the weather mats were gone, when I’ve asked them , they said it does not come with it.

I think mud flaps on these trucks are ugly AF, and worse looking than the chin strap that many owners remove. i understand some states require them.

mine were factory installed and my intent was to leave them on and live with them. but, after i saw how they were not protecting the rear wheel flares from rock chips, i removed them.

op, as others mentioned, if it were me i would move on and avoid the dealer.

Thats really not true with the toyota flares, or mud flaps. I owned a tundra for 19 years with fender flares, and mud flaps living here in the salt belt. I never had any dirt or rust that they may have trapped, or created. As far as the 3.5 sr5, the flares come standard on them.

Actually in '64 there was a tiddle in that direction.

GTO fender badges. Still marketed/spec'd as a 389 CI, but it was a nod to where they took the Italian name of Gran Turismo Omologato from Ferrari. (Grand Touring Homologated in English).

As the owner of #104, I got asked a lot of questions about that.

Of course the math was wrong. A 389 is 6.37L

The next GTO motor was 400CI in '67, and was 6.55L

Rounding error looked better on badges I suppose. :D

The dealer I bought the truck from intercepted it while en route to another dealer, so I don't know when they were installed, but yes, they were an added item on the invoice. I asked the dealer to remove them and deduct the cost, but they refused. Yes, my head is still recovering from the explosion at the egregious price they charged. I don't know if they realized it, but they kind of had me by the cojones, because this configuration is exactly what I would have built had I sat down and ordered one from the dealer. Problem is, it's such an odd configuration that they're actually pretty rare. To make matters worse, I couldn't wait 2-3 months to replace my '17. Looking at the individual items on the invoice will make you cringe, but the total out-the-door price is what I gauged my negotiations on, and that came in where I wanted it.

honestly, you got the truck that you wanted which was a rare configuration but you had to pay for mudflaps that you’re not going to use. Sounds like you made out way better than most of us to takeoff half the parts of our truck and throw them in the garage to put something else on, and knowing we’re gonna do it when we buy the truck.

OP ordered a truck with a specific configuration, dealer wanted to add mud flaps but OP didn't, OP accepted them but refused to let them install, decides to do it himself then gets mad that they dont immediately refund him the mudflaps he ordered and refused to let them install.

I mean I dont see anyone here at fault except the OP. Next time just dont order or accept them.

Man I LOVE our Subaru, that thing doesn't quit, 11 years old 160k miles later it still gets 30+ mpg and cheap insurance.

Ask to talk to the service advisor manager and explain it to them.
If that doesn't work ask to speak to their lead mechanic.

When I owned my 66 gto, I recall the manual claimed it was a 6.4 liter 389.

The mud flaps were port installed items on my 2020 and non negotiable to remove from price. Same with the 190 dollar charge for the tailgate lettering..

Sounds like Wesley Chapel Toyota, except you would have paid $5K over MSRP.

Not worth the negative energy. I understand his point, and yours. But seriously, it was going to happen and he knew it.

The mud flaps were a dealer added accessory, among other items, that they refused to take off the invoice. I didn't ask for them. I was told they could remove or not install the dealer added items, but they wouldn't take the cost of the items off the price. Of course every one of them is marked up 300%. Despite the insistence of the parts manager, I knew they wouldn't fit, but I was done arguing the fact, and took them, based again on their insistence they would fit. Driving home I thought it was remotely possible that Toyota released mud flaps for the SR body.

It's actually a good thing I didn't leave them there and eat the egregious $399 charge for them. At that point, I'd be out the money. Instead, I took them home, test fitted them, provided the dealer with proof they don't apply to my vehicle, including a picture of the fitment, and they agreed to refund me the $399 that they wouldn't take off to begin with. That will cover 1/2 the cost of a tonneau!

I have to say, the most pleasant car buying/selling experience I've ever had was with Carvana. Completely painless, trouble-free process.
