Car care nut is fantastic! You also might want to power wash/ remove any rust and put a protective layer, CRC. Or others. Well described in other threads.
Coolant drain and replace I think manual says 100k. Me… I’d change all the fluids now and have a baseline. Remember brake fluid, front and rear pumpkins..

Here in MA, Toyota market is crazy! Iwas looking at a 2013 for $18k and got my 2017 for $28k. Five years ago, my son got his 2012 for $19k. Market here in the rust belt is just so much higher with little supply and high demand for used vehicles.

Glad you found what you wanted. $20k not bad at all for newer model. Awesome rig!

Just so happens... I drove my son's 2012 out to vintage races at Limerock Park (CT) weekend before buying mine. I think I got hooked the same way you did. Love my Taco! So nice to drive- fun! Capable truck but very comfortable.

Congrats on the truck and on retirement. Sounds like you got a good deal. As others have said, the engine is next to bulletproof, and white is the right color for Florida!

I got a set of these milk crates on Amazzzon. They fit behind the seats, if you're not too tall. Four standard milk crates fit nicely across the back of the bed. Great for keeping things (food, Lowes purchases) from rolling around. Also great for staging bug-out/hurricane supplies - just grab and go. Enjoy! :mudding:
